CANAL GÖTA Le canal Göta fut l’un des plus grands projets d’ingénierie civile jamais entrepris en Suède. Le canal part de Sjötorp sur le lac Vänern et va jusqu’à Mem sur la côte ouest. Il fait 190 kilomètres de long et compte 58 écluses en tout. Sur cette distance, 87 kilomètres ont été creusés par l’homme. Les lacs que traverse le canal représentent 103 kilomètres sur sa longueur totale. En été, le canal prend vie avec tous ces bateaux transportant des passagers et ces canoës.
